Improvements to Avenida Conde de Guadalhorce Project
Description of project
The works consisted in completely renewing the area along the length of the old San Agustín moorings, adding up to an entire surface treated area of approximately 25,350 m2. The dimensions involved exceed a total length of 1,000 m and a width of approximately 15 m along the boardwalk area and 9 m roadway.
The boardwalk area is straight and pleasant on the eye, lined as it is with different elements (rails, street lamps, etc.).
The Avenida Guadalhorce has undergone a complete facelift along the stretch corresponding to the project scope. To this end, the current roadbed was resurfaced by means of several layers of agglomerate, given its previously extremely deteriorated state, to which must be added the complementary painting and signposting work.
