Important Projects

These works consisted of renovating the approximately 175 m long roadway, plus a margin of some 250 m long, which go to make up a total surface area of 5,911 m2, and which include the drainage of the existing esplanade, service networks; cordoning off the kerb that will define the new pavements, laying of the roadbeds, car parks and pavements and completing the action with the necessary signposting and street furnishings.
The carrying out of this project serves to even out the alignment and levels of this stretch of road. Also included is the regulation of the urban networks, the implementation of a new rainwater drainage network for the whole area, including the replacement of the current general header; the renovation of the telephony channelling in those areas where the lines are underground and the construction of a new channel in order to convert the current overhead line into an underground one and, lastly, the construction of a new lighting channel and the fitting of new lighting elements.
Worthy of special mention as regards this project is the renovation in the affected area of the port installation enclosure area in accordance with the new model that is being implemented in order to meet International Code security specifications to protect ships and port installations (ISPS code).
